Linden House is a stunning venue. The grade II listed building and riverside location make it perfect for wedding receptions. The suite of elegant rooms can be used throughout the reception from the arrival drinks, through to dinner and later for dancing.

Our members bar is available later in the evening for coffee or drinks. It offers comfortable seating with a riverside view for those wanting a quieter area to chat.

The Georgian facade of Linden House makes the perfect backdrop for your photographs while your guests can enjoy drinks inside with a river view or outside in the riverside courtyard.

Inside the neutrally decorated rooms can be transformed with lighting, flowers and themed decoration for truly individual events. The elegant entrance and two adjoining rooms are ideal for formal or informal dining and dancing and after dinner entertainment.

In the summer months the outside space is regularly used for the arrival drinks and in the evening provides a space to chill out. For larger weddings a marquee can be erected giving even greater flexibility.

You can arrive at Linden House by river boat, bus or vintage car while your guests have a picturesque riverside walk after parking in the nearby streets.

We have a range of menu options from traditional three course meal to bbq or buffet. Whatever you choose we guarantee the food will be freshly prepared and delicious. Menu tastings can be arranged.

We can help you design your own style of table dressing using speciality linen, themed place settings and a variety of other decorations.

The organisation of your wedding can be enhanced by recommending our trusted florists, a cake designer, entertainers, a variety of music from soloists, singers to contemporary bands, classical quartets and jazz ensembles.
